West Nile Virus -- United States
The North Dakota Department of Agriculture reports 4 confirmed cases and one suspect case of West Nile virus in horses, and one infected sheep. Animals resided in Ramsey, McIntosh, Stark, Grand Forks, Barnes, and Nelson counties. Two of the animals have died.

Kenya is on a high alert following the outbreak of a coconut disease along the Indian Ocean coast that has so far wiped out the crop in Mozambique and could threaten Kenya's palms.
